You can not become an Air Force Officer after the 10th. First, you must have passed class 12th standard from any recognized Institute and you have to appear for NDA (National Defence Academy) exam and get a qualifying score to become an Air Force Officer.

Being a student of Class 10th, to become an Indian Air force Officer, you have options through NDA (National Defense Academy), CDS (Combined Defense Services) and AFCAT (Air force Common Admission Test).

Further, for joining through NDA, you are required to complete your Class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognised board of education and qualify NDA examination while for entry through AFCAT and CDS, you need to first complete your graduation degree from a recognized university.

For complete details regarding various entries through Indian Air force along with their respective admission criteria you can refer to the link www.careerairforce.nic.in.

The Indian Air Force doesn't have any entry scheme that inducts candidates after class 10th. The minimum qualification required to join Air Force is 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board. To join the Air Force after 10+2, you will have to appear for NDA (National Defence Academy) entrance examinations. The candidate must be in the age group of 16.5 to 19 years at the time of the start of the course.

NDA is a national-level entrance examination through which candidates are shortlisted and selected for all the wings of the Indian Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force). The examination is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year in the month of April and September.
