For BHEL, candidate must have completed bachelor's degree in engineering in any discipline from a known university...

For being eligible for SAIL, candidate must have applied for GATE exam to get shortlisted....
And have completed 4 yr bachelor's degree in engineering and those who are AMIE qualified are also eligible...

The applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or could have a 5-year integrated Master's Degree in engineering or technology in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering from a known university.
