Respected Sir/Madam, I want to know about the criteria for admission in Government Model Engineering College Ernakulam for BTech(Biomedical Engineering) course. Please let me know about the admission criteria. Waiting for your reply.

Admission for B.Tech (biomedical engineering) are based on KEAM entrance exam which is conducted by government of Kerala. Selection is based on merit in the entrance exam & subject to availability of seats.

Candidates who have passe 10+2 kerala or exams recognised equivalent thereto
With 50% in maths and 50% in physics/ chemistry/ biotech/ biology/computer science taken together are eligible.
95% seats intake are through CEE and 5% are reserved for NRI.
In this course 60 seats are available.
Addition 10% students are allotted seats in each branch for b.tech through Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam rank

The admission criteria to study BTech in Biomedical Engineering at Government Model Engineering College Ernakulam is a candidate must have passed 10+2 with subjects Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. Admission selection will be on the basis of merit in KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) and through the counseling process.

Interested candidate can apply online through KEAM website www.cee-kerala.org. First of all register yourself on the website and thereafter login with the details. Fill the application form with all the required details and upload the scanned copy of all the relevant documents. Pay the application fee and submit the form.
