Respected Sir/Madam, I want to join IIT Madras for studying BTech(Mechanical Engineering). I want to know about the procedure of getting admission in this college for this course. Can somebody tell me about the admission procedure?

Admission procedure :
Admission to B.Tech program offered at IIT Madras will be conducted on the basis of rank in JEE Main Examination. candidates can apply by following the given steps :

1.Visit the official website of JEE Main.
2.Click on the apply link at the home page.
3.Register with a valid e-mail and mobile number.
4.Download the information bulletin which will be available on the next page.
5.Read all the instructions and click on the “proceed” tab.
6.Fill all the mandatory details.
7.Upload the scanned copies of the documents: thumb impression, photograph, and signature.
8.The application fee of INR. 1000/- (INR. 500/- for Girls) can be paid through Debit/Credit Cards or e-challan.

The admission procedure to study BTech in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras is a candidate must have passed 10+2 in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) with a minimum score of 75% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. Admission selection will be on the basis of the score obtained in JEE Main or JEE Advanced followed by counseling.

Interested candidate can apply online through the JEE Main website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/. First of all register yourself on the website and thereafter login with the details. Fill the application form with all the required details and upload the scanned copy of all the relevant documents. Pay the application fee and submit the form.
