Respected Sir/Madam, I want to study MBBS from Goa Medical College and Hospital. Can I know the procedure for getting admission in this institute for studying MBBS? Please tell me asap.

You need to appear for NEET-UG for admission in the said medical college. You can get your choice of college through counselling if you have got a good rank in the entrance exam. For admission you need to make sure that you have class 12th qualification with PCB stream.

Merit for admission is based on NEET score which will be decided on the basis of marks in the entrance exam and your class 12th marks.

In order to get a seat in Goa Medical College for MBBS you have to appear in NEET UG entrance exam.
Counselling is carried by DTE, Goa.

Availability of application form will start from 18th May, 2019 and end in 26th May,2019.

Display of final merit list on July 11th, 2019.

Schedule for admission rounds will be conducted on 14th July and 20th July.

Special round to fill the vacant seats on 30 September, 2019.

The admission procedure to study MBBS at Goa Medical College and Hospital is:-

==> Candidate must have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as main subjects with minimum 50% marks.

==> Candidate must be 17 years of age as on or before 31st December of the admission year. Admission is granted on the basis of NEET entrance exam and further by counselling which is carried by DTE, Goa.

==> Download the application form from the college website that is www.gmc.goa.gov.in.

==> Fill the application form with all the required details and submit along with the necessary documents.

==> Submit the application fee of Rs.1800 through DD drawn in favor of DTE payable at Panaji, Goa.

==> After fee submission, you will get an acknowledgement card.
