i got 70% in 12th... and got 50% marks in graduation... am I eligible for NIMCET... on their website it shows as ...

"at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale in case of SC, ST) in
BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time"....

i think 60% required for 12th.. not for graduation... need help.. pls...

No, you are not eligible to apply for NIMCET.

NIT MCA common entrance test (NIMCET) is a national level common entrance test conducted by NITs for admission to MCA course.

The eligibility criteria is as follows:

-> Candidate must have passed graduation with a minimum of 60% marks with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business mathematics as one of the subjects in any of the semester or year.

-> Also the candidate must have passed class 12 examination with a minimum of 60% marks with mathematics/ Business mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subject.

As you have secured only 50% marks in graduation, you are not eligible to apply for NIMCET.

NIMCET stands for the National Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test.

Those candidates who have completed B.Sc / BCA/ B.Sc ( Hons )/ BIT /B.Tech / BE degree from a recognized university are eligible for NIMCET exam.

Your age should be below 25 years.

No, you are not eligible for NIMCET with 50% marks in graduation.

Eligibility for NIMCET :

• Candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university. Final year appearing student are allowed.
• Candidate must have secured 60% marks in their graduation. 5% relaxation is their for SC and ST category candidates.
• There is no age limit.
