Graduates in streams of science, engineering, or computer application can apply for NIMCET 2013, till April 16. The exam comprises questions from topics like mathematics, analytical ability, and General English. Applications can be submitted online through the website of NIMCET. Applicants are allotted with test centers in cities such as Calicut, Surathkal, Jamshedpur, and Raipur. Qualified candidates in NIMCET can seek admission to NIT’s in cities like Bhopal, Durgapur, Kurukshetra, Warangal, and Agartala.

Eligibility for NIMCET 2013

Indian citizens with any of the following qualifications are eligible for NIMCET 2013.

  • Bachelor of Science
  • Bachelor of Computer Application
  • Bachelor of Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • Bachelor of Technology

Eligible candidate must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. SC/ST candidates need to score a minimum of 55% marks only. Final year students holding these much qualifications are also eligible to apply.

Exam Pattern for NIMCET 2013

NIMCET 2013 is conducted at a single paper test of objective model. There will be 120 questions for the test comprising questions from the topics mentioned below.

  • Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning
  • Computer Awareness
  • General English
  • Mathematics

Duration of the test is 2 hours. Section of Mathematics comprises a total of 50 questions and that of analytical ability & logical reasoning include 40 questions. Ten questions will be asked from computer awareness and 20 questions from general English. Candidates are awarded with 4 marks for each correct answer and are deducted with one mark for each wrong answer.

Application Procedure for NIMCET 2013

Interested candidates can submit online applications through the website of NIMCET. Apart from this, they must pay the application processing fee in the form of Demand Draft. DD of Rs. 1600/- must be taken in favor of NIMCET 2013. After this, print out copy of the submitted application, DD and other supporting documents must be send to the address of the Secretary, NIMCET, National Institute of Technology, Warangal.

    I have done my B.Tech (Elect.Engg.)in the year2008 from IASE deemed University Sardarsahar (Raj) Under distance education.Now I want to do the M.Tech.

    Please advice me the Institution to help me to complete the M.Tech with my job.
