How much money it takes to study MBBS in Chennai and whether studying MBBS is useful or not in Chennai? Please tell me immediately.

Medical education is considered to be one of the most expensive education in India.
So, if you are thinking of minimum expense then just consider it up-to 20 Lac.
This is the minimum budget for the Medical education expense in AIIMS and all the institution like this there are minimum of 30-35 lac. of expense and when you talk about the private organization then your medical education can not get completed within 50 lac.

SO, if you wish to do MBBS then yes, Chennai is the better place to go for the Medical Education as this is the cheap city for the Medical education.

If you get a government seat through entrance examination, then it is fine to study MBBS in Chennai. But through management seat the cost involved in studying MBBS is very high. The capitation fee is about Rs. 30 to 40 Lakhs. The total cost will be around Rs 1 Crore. The Newspaper link is given for your reference

Instead you can study the course in some of the universities in Asian countries like Philippines. The total cost is very less. There are some good universities available in Philippines. The cost involved is very less (around 2 to 3 Lakhs/year).

Chennai is not very costly so, one can afford medical from Chennai. It is also beneficial for medical student. As Medical is one of the expensive course but if you choose Chennai then it is somehow cheaper in comparison to other states. It costs approx 20 lakh. If you select other big institutions as well as state your minimum budget will be approx 35 lakh. Price rises more and more that is above 55 lakh when you opt private institutions.
