Respected Sir, I have completed 12th with Commerce stream. I hadn't study Sanskrit in 12th standard. But I am interested to study BA in Sanskrit course. Please tell me can I study BA in Sanskrit? Waiting for your response!

••• To be eligible to persue BA in Sanskrit,the candidate should have passed Higher Secondary that is 10 + 2 exam or its equivalent with second language Sanskrit.


••• As you have not studied Sanskrit in 12th hence, you are not eligible.

You can not study BA(sanskrit), if you have not sanskrit as a subject in 12th standard.

It would be beneficial if you have studied Sanskrit in 10+2 or in class 10th if you want to study BA in Sanskrit. It will be very difficult to study the subject at that level without having basic knowledge and most of the university gives permission to study Sanskrit only when you have studied the subject as one of the languages in your class 10th or 12th.

I would suggest you to also check with the university because every university has different rules and regulations.

I had studied sanskrit in 10th then I have done 11th & 12th in commerce now can I go for BA in sanskrit ??

can i do BA Sanskrit with sanskrit in 10th but not in 12th ?
