Criteria for B.Com hons student to appear for PCS exam? What is the eligibility criteria for writing PCS exam?


What is the criteria 4 b.com hons student to appear in P.C.S. exam? what is the minimum percentage required in graduation? If graduation marks is below than criteria & post graduation marks is higher than it should be applicable 4 appearing in the examination or not?

B.Com degree holders are eligible for PCS exam.

Eligibility for PCS exam:

You should have graduation from recognized university in any stream. Appearing in final year candidates are also eligible for PCS exa.

Your age should be between 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved category students.

Selection Process:

Preliminary exam

Mains exam

Interview

PCS stands for Punjab civil service exam which is a combined competitive examination. PCS exam is conducted by Punjab public service commission for the following posts:

1. Tehsildar
2. Excise and taxation officer
3. Labour and conciliation center
4. Block development and panchayat officer
5. PCS executive branch
6. Deputy superintendent of police
7. Deputy superintendent of jail/ District probation officer

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

* Candidate must be a citizen of India.

* The minimum age of the candidate is 21 years of age while maximum age of the candidate is 38 years of age.

* Candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university/ institution.

* Candidate must have passed Punjabi as one of the subject at secondary level.

If the aspirant has more percentage in post graduation and if one has not meet the eligibility criteria the he is not eligible to apply for respective post.
