TNEA is conducted by the Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The exam is conducted for admission to various engineering courses in the state of Tamil Nadu, including agricultural engineering courses. The eligibility criteria for appearing for TNEA includes passing of 10+2 or its equivalent examination with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as mandatory subjects.
