Is there any exam coducted by aicte for admission in b.pharma? lyk there is gpat...is there an xam for b.pharma too?

Yes, you have written CMAT exam in order to get admission in AICTE.
CMAT is a computer-based test (CBT) which will be conducted twice a year. Each Candidate is eligible to appear in both the exams and the better of the two scores will be used for the admission for each academic year. For admissions to academic year, the first CMAT exam will be conducted from last week of September The second CMAT exam for admissions for the academic year will be conducted from the second week of February.

The format of the test is more or less the same except that a candidate reads a question on a computer terminal and clicks on the correct answer, instead of reading on a paper booklet and using a pencil to darken the ovals on an answer sheet.

Paper pattern:
There will be four sections in the test. The sections are
a) Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
b) Logical Reasoning
c) Language Comprehension and
d) General Awareness.

There will be 25 questions in each section
The duration of test will be 180 minutes
For each correct answer there are 4 marks, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
