How to calculate percentage if secured 7.00 DGPA in WBUT B.Tech in Mechanical branch?

To calculate percentage from DGPA of WBUT B.Tech, you can use the below mentioned formula :-

DGPA to Percentage Conversion :-
Percentage = (DGPA-0.75)*10

Suppose, if you have secured 7.75 DGPA, your percentage will be (7.75-0.75)*10 i.e., 70 percentage.

Since, you have secured 7.0 DGPA, your percentage is (7.00-0.75)*10 i.e., 62.5 percentage.

My dgpa is 7.74...can i apply for any job which has criteria of 70%

I want to know the individual subject marks through credit,credit points,dgpa and grade. Stream is bba(h)

In WBUT the rule is minimum percentage assured is (DGPA-0.75)*10...I repeat minimum value assured... Now suppose a man gets 10point ideally then his minimum vale of percentage assured is (10-.75)*10=92.5% for sure...that means his marks is greater than or equal to 92.5%..

Now suppose one gets 7.75 then his percentage is (7-.75)*10%<=Acutal percentage <=77.5% ie he got a percentage between 70% to 77.5%..

Thus the absolute value of the percentage is still unknown...Hope everyone understands..
