How can a commerce student switch to maths?

Hi Is it possible for someone who has done his 12th in Commerce and then completed B.Com, to pursue a career as a teacher/professor of mathematics?

Please reply urgently if you got any idea or if you could provide some reference.

Thanks

Yes. A commerce students can take admission in BSc (H) Maths if they have maths as one of the subject in 12th even if it is optional.

The colleges want to be fulfilled in order to give admission in Maths(honors) is that the candidate must have Mathematics as their optional or main subject in 11th and 12th standard.

°°° You can make career in teaching mathematics after completing Bachelor of Commerce 3 years degree course only if you have studied mathematics in your 11th and 12th standard and then in your graduation.
If you have studied mathematics then you can take admission in bachelor of education 2 years degree course if you want to teach students from class 6 to 10th.
And if you are interested in becoming a professor of mathematics then, you have to purse you PhD in mathematics from a renowned college and then you have to involve yourself in some research after that you have to qualify the National Eligibility Test and accordingly you can apply in government as well as private colleges on the basis of your rank in the test.

Yes Commerce students can take admission in BSc (H) Maths if they have maths as one of the subject in 12th even if it is optional.

No college usually denies admission to a student on the basis that student is from commerce stream or even any other stream.
But one requirement that many of the colleges want to be fulfilled in order to give admission in Maths(honors) is that the candidate must have Mathematics as their optional or main subject in 11th and 12th standard.
