How to opt for BAMS (Ayurvedic) education?
I am interested in BAMS (Ayurvedic). Please inform me how to opt for it?

BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery.
The eligibility for BAMS course is also similar to MBBS. The eligibility is : 1. You must complete 12th with biology, physics and chemistry. 2. The percentage in 12th must be minimum 45%. 3. The minimum age for joining BAMS is 17 years of joining the course. 4. The maximum age limit is 25 years. After completing 12th you must write the medical common entrance exam, after passing the exam you can choose the BAMS course. |

BAMS - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences
It is an Undergraduate course with a duration of 5 1/2 years. The candidates who have strong belief in Indian traditional Ayurvedic system and want to know about it can study this program. ELIGIBILITY : * Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board or institution. * Candidate should complete 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their subjects. * Candidate should get at least 60% or above in the qualifying examination. * Age limit is the candidate should have 17 years of age. Some colleges will offer the admissions to the students who selected in the entrance exam conducted by the respective institution. |
