in west bengal's Govt. medical college??????

The rank and its subsequent equivalent college is very relative issue. NEET entrance examinations are opted for getting admission in medical courses. Now, this entirely depends on number of students appearing for the examination and the number of students then utilizing their NEET score to get admitted. There are around 150 colleges all over India where you can get admitted by showing NEET score. Among them there are around 7 government medical colleges in West Bengal. In such colleges you will get a maximum of 500 seats. So your option becomes way narrower. Now the ranks obtained in NEET ranges from 40000 for general to 80000 for other reserved category. But to make it to a government college you cannot score beyond 800 rank. As you can see the number of seats are very less. The lesser your rank is the more are your chances to grab a seat in government medical colleges.
