Is it necessary to have studied Maths for BCom (hons)?
Hello my name is shreya. Is mathematics a compulsory subject for doing b.com (hons) from a good college/university. And if it is necessary then what to do? I aim doing an MBA in international business.

No. It is not compulsory to study mathematics for BCom (Hons). There are some colleges where you can apply for BCom (Hons) without having maths.

No,the course structures of BCom Hons in DU or mostly all colleges does not include maths as a subject. You will have various subjects related to accounts, management, business laws, financing, economics etc.
Yes, you can do BCom Hons without mathematics, the minimum requirement for Bcom (Hons ) is aggregate 60% marks in 12th. |

If you have completed 12th standard with commerce subject from a recognised board then you are eligible for BCom course.
Mathematics is not compulsory for BCom course. Your age should be above 16 years. |

Maths is compulsory for BCOM (Hons) , maths (Hons) and for BA Hons(economics).
One must have scored 90% and above in class 12 if they belong to General category. |

No,it's not necessary to have Mathematics subjects in Class 12th to study BCom Hons, candidates must have 12th passed in Commerce Stream with minimum 45%marks to study BCom Hons.
