please let me know that what is the scope
of doing course named bachelor of Optometry
and Ophthalmic Technology in India?
please reply as soon as possible

Basically, this program aims to create skillfully proficient optometrists helping as primary eye care health practitioners.
Once you have finished your BOOT degree, you will find interesting career prospects with Optician shops, eye doctors, and Contact Lens companies, Ophthalmic lens industry and hospital eye departments.

You have lots of options in hospitals undertaken by state and central government. In addition, you also have opportunities available in NGOs, private hospitals, clinics, missionary hospitals and charitable hospitals run by railways and defense. Most of the ophthalmologist prefers private sectors such as nursing home, private hospitals and clinics because of high income.

Apart from this you can start your own eye clinic, Optical shop, lens manufacturing unit. You can also get job chances with Optician shops and hospitals in India and abroad.

Is there is any difference between optometrist or ophthalmic technologist ?? Because both have same period of education 4 years so what is good ??

What is the difference between optometrist ND ophthalmic technologist ??

What is the difference between BOOT and B. Opto??? I have heard a lot about both the courses but actually don't know that.. how exactly they both differ from each other!!
