B.Sc Hons is generally 3 years or 4 years program after 12th standard. Hons means study of specific subject to do bachelor in science in that subject.

B.Sc(Hons) is study of specific subject throughout the degree.

For example, B.Sc Agricultural is the study of Agricultural or related agricultural related subject.

B.Sc general is study of combination of all subjects.

For example,

B.Sc Non Medical is the study of Physics, Chemistry and Physics.

B.Sc Medical is the study of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

B.Sc general have three years duration.

Both B.Sc & B.Sc(H) are bachelor degree in Science. Both are almost same but there is slight difference between them.

B.Sc is common degree given to any undergraduate, but B.Sc(H) is doing specialisation in any paper. Usually cut-offs for B.Sc(H) are higher as compared to general B.Sc. Also job option for students holding B.Sc(H) are more than candidates holding general B.Sc degree.

One cannot find much difference between a Bachelor of Science degree and Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree.Three years are needed to complete a Bsc degree, and four years for completion of Bsc(Hons) degree. The Bachelor of science(Hons) degree is considered to be superior to Bachelor of science degree. The Bsc(Hons) is considered to be,academically, more standard than the ordinary Bsc degree.A Bsc degree is easier to obtain than a Bsc(Hons).

If you appear for some recruitment or higher studies where graduation is the criteria, then B.Sc general is equivalent to any other graduation degree.
But if you are interested in say,M.Sc in specific subject or recruitment in specific depts where graduation subject is compulsory, then you will be rejected or put behind those with honors degree.

B.Sc Hons in any subject or even B.Com hons or B.A hons are always more valuable and preferred than pass or general course.
