Somebody said that preparation for Banking exams is totally wastage of time for B.Tech students. B.Tech students are not eligible to sit in Banking exams. Can you please send me detail about this issue?

B.Tech students are eligible for Banking exam. You can apply for Banking sector.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI clerk exam. Your age should be in between 20 to 28 years.

No, the information what you had heard regarding that B.Tech students are not eligible to appear in Bank examinations is completely wrong. B.Tech students are eligible to appear in Bank examinations. It is totally absurd that candidates passed b.tech course are not eligible to appear for banking examination.

The examination for recruitment in banking examination is conducted by IBPS/SBI. The common eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from any recognised university.

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline and with minimum passing marks.

As far as my knowledge is concerned, preparing for Banking Examination is good to find better career. Who told you that B.Tech candidates are not eligible to apply for bank examinations ?
