I am a student of MBA Tech computer science 2nd year (4th semester). I am interested in doing summer internship in banks. But i don't know how should i approach for that. Is there any detailed process for that?

Yes, you have to follow up a simple procedure for getting internship from any bank.

First of all you have to write an application for the internship.

Then you have to apply for the NOC from your college.

After doing this you have to send your application to the bank manager.

If they approve your application then you have to go for the interview.

After successful clearing the interview you can start your internship in that particular bank.

No there is no internship offered in Banks but you can visit RBI at any time or you can have something like Industrial One day visit . RBI introduced this kind of scheme to create awareness among students.

You can apply for Internship in banks but this should be approved by IIBF. Some times you need to get a permission from them. But this is not for regulat students. Only for the candidates who have completed there graduation in banking finance or masters in banking, finance and accounts.

And also there are some limitations so you need to be careful about that.
