I am B.Tech final year student of IT branch, here i want to know that what should i do in case i have done my summer internship in .net but i got certificate in java by mistake. There is no much time to send a request for change because i am going to sit in campus placement in 5 days.

Please help me out.

This is a big mistake which also reveals the potential and questions in the recognition of your course. You should first request for a change and claim it as an urgent request for the authorities to act upon. Secondly, if you do not get the Dotnet certificate, you need to modify your resume stating that you have knowledge on Dotnet rather than being certified. Moreover, you should not mention about java certification since the interviewer might ask questions related to java and you will be make a mess of your interview.

Just appear in the placement and talk to your placement officer about the issue.
He/she will inform the companies representatives about the issue and there will no problem.

Just apply for the change of he certificate as soon as possible. Don't delay the procedure. Also at the time of interview you yourself tell the interviewer that you have done certification course in .NET.

For time being give .net as your certification course in your resume. There may be a chance where the HR panel dont look at the documents. In that case you can be free. Suppose if they look at the document and questions about the case then go with your polite explanation. Explain the situation in a clear and positive manner.
