Hello everyone, I want to do PhD in Agriculture Biotechnology from Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University. I would like to know about the procedure for getting admission in this university for this PhD program. Kindly let me know immediately. Thank you!

The admission procedure to study PhD in Agriculture Biotechnology at Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University is a candidate must have passed a master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Admission selection is done on the basis of performance in the entrance test, marks obtained in the master's degree, and in the interview.

Interested candidates can apply online through the university website that is https://angrau.ac.in/. You can click on the admission tab and then click on PhD option and then a new page will get open. You can click on the link and fill out all the required details and upload the scanned copy of all the relevant documents. Pay the application online and submit the form.

The admission procedure to study PhD (Agriculture Biotechnology) is, candidates must have a post graduate degree with minimum aggregate 55%marks from a recognized university.

The duration of this course is 3 years.

Admission procedure:

1.You will be selected on the basis of your previous academic performance including both Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s level, Entrance Test, and Interview Performance in the following ratio:

Entrance Test – 50%
M.Sc. Level – 30%
B.Sc. Level – 10%
Interview Performance – 10%.

AGRICET is the entrance test conducted for the admission to the 2nd year of the course B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture.
Candidates who have done Diploma in Agriculture/ Seed Technology/ Organic Farming of two years from ANGRAU/PJTSAU can apply to this course. The question paper of the entrance test will be in Telugu medium.

The admission procedure for PhD in Agriculture is entrance and counselling based. Students need to appear and crack the entrance exams, a few of which are held by the universities themselves along with the counselling/interview session to get enrolled in a college in the PhD in Agriculture course.

Students are allowed to take admitted after clearing the entrance exam and interview.

To study phd you must complete your masters degree from any certified college/university with passing marks atleast 50%. You have to give entrance exam of that particular college in which you are willing to take admission.
And you will be also selected on the basis of your academic performance of your bachelor's degree and master's level.
