Hello everyone, I want to do PhD in Public Administration from Mizoram University. I would like to know about the procedure for getting admission in this university for this PhD program. Kindly let me know immediately. Thank you!

The admission procedure is:-

Candidates who have done post graduate degree with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam called UGC-NET.

The duration of this course is 3 years.

PhD admission is based on PhD entrance exam. CSIR UGC NET, UGC NET, IIT JAM, NPAT are top PhD entrance exams. If a candidate wants to pursue PhD in engineering and technology, they must have a valid GATE score. CSIR UGC NET is the national level PhD entrance exam conducted twice a year.

Mizoram University Ph.D. Admissions Process:-

Candidates are selected in their performance in GATE/Personal Interview/Performance tests. The admission process is done online for the Ph.D. program.

How to Apply?

1- Candidates must first visit the college website and register themselves.

2- Candidates must fill the online application with the required academic and personal details.

3- They must then upload the required documents to the admission portal.

4- They must then pay for their application online. The Ph.D. application form costs about Rs 700/-

5- After submission, candidates will be called for an interview
After which, admission will be decided.

6- The admission process ends with the candidate paying the admission fee and reporting to the college.

Admission Procedure:-

Those candidates who have completed their masters degree from a recognized university can do PhD Public Administration.

Minimum marks required 55%.

Duration of this course is 3 years.

Entrance exam called UGC-NET.

To be eligible for the Ph.D. program, candidates must have:

Scored at least 60% in their Master’s Degree.

A valid GATE scorecard.

Gone through personal interview/performance test conducted by the university.

The admission procedure to study PhD in Public Administration at Mizoram University is a candidate must have passed a postgraduation in the relevant field from a recognized university. Admission selection is made on the basis of performance in the entrance test followed by an interview.

Interested candidates can apply online through the university website that is http://mzu.edu.in/ by clicking on academics and then on the admission tab. First of all, register yourself on the website and thereafter log in with the details. Fill out the application form with all the required details and upload the scanned copy of all the relevant documents. Pay the application fee online and submit the form.

Those who have completed their masters in relevant subject or equivalent stream with atleast 55% marks from a recognised board are eligible for admission

Admission is granted on the basis of entrance exam and interview.
Those who have appeared for NET/SET/M.phil/SET/GATE are exempted from university level entrance exam and they directly appear for interview round.
