Am I eligible to apply for CSIR-NET to study PhD in Chemical Science after completed M.Tech in Nanotechnology and B.Tech in ECE?


Sir,
I want to appear for CSIR-NET to fund my PhD studies.
I have completed my B.Tech in ECE and M.Tech in Nanotechnology.
I am interest in PhD in Chemical Science.
So, I am eligible or not?

Yes, you are eligible for CSIR NET exam because you have completed M.Tech degree.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.
