Am I eligible to study Ph.D through CSIR-NET(Chemical Sciences) if completed post graduation in Biotechnology?


sir
i've done my post graduation in biotechnology
but i want to give my csir net exam through "chemical science".
Am i eligible for appearing in csir net "chemical science"
paper and further can i pursue my Ph.d in chemical science ?

Yes, you are eligible for CSIR UGC net exam because you have completed M.Sc in Biotechnology.

Those candidate who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55%and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its hold 50% above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.

Yes, you can do your Ph.D in chemical science.

Yes can give CSIR NET exams which you have to passed your postgraduation degree with minimum 55% with recognized University.
Candidate must have a degree in B.pharma,b.e.,B.Tech, m.sc. or mbbs,any other science degree with at least 55% .5% relaxation for reserve candidate.
