I have done my MSc in biotechnology, can I give ugc net in enviornment science? Please advise me for my future. Thanking you. Would you please help me in this regard?

Biotechnology is more related to Life Sciences field and it will be good for you to apply for biotechnology subject because it will suit your studies. You can surely apply for environmental sciences but you have to prepare for a subject which you haven't studied.

Just make sure that you have got 55% marks in post graduation. Therefore, you can apply for it but make sure you are well prepared for the exam.

You have done M.Sc in Biotechnology so you are eligible for UGC NET exam in Environmental Science.

Educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.
