Biotechnology
Biotechnology is one of the most important fields in the world of medicine today. Biotechnology basically deals with the study of living cells and to apply certain techniques on them to enhance is attributes and to improve its quality. Biotechnology consists of many sub key areas or work issues under it. The various fields are:-
• Industrial biotech
• General biotech
• Environmental Biotech
• Medical Biotech
Basically the main work grounds for the Bio technologists are the micro organisms and the enzymes that are produced by them so that they can use them for enhancing and improving the quality of living cells. Also the bio technologists work on the system so as to how use and treat the industrial and home waste.
Another field for biotechnologists is related to the pharmaceutical research. This mainly deals with developing new and advanced medicines for diseases.
Biotechnologists have an all together different working background. As their job is rigorous, time consuming and challenging, their working conditions are set according to that only. Their research work is done in well equipped laboratories. They require advanced technology to perform new experiments and to complete their research work.
Now here is some information about the employment opportunities and the amount of money involved in this field:-
• It is one of the most booming industries in the world today and many medical students are inclined towards this field instead of the conventional MBBS and further. Many jobs like DNA scanning, finger printing, preservation of human cell, cloning, genetic analysis etc. are the areas for which can go for.
• Bio technologists can also work for certain industries related to food and preservatives. There they can be involved in producing chemicals, bio processed products.
