Can I become a Lecturer in any Government affiliated university through MPhil(English) course?


Hello Sir, I have completed my MA in English Honours. I want to do MPhil in English now. I want to become a Lecturer in any Government affiliated university. So, can I become a Lecturer through this MPhil course?

No , just with M.phil it's not possible ..
You need to.qualify NET /SET....

M.phil.is an added advantage, but without NET/SET no.university will.aceept you for permanent position...

After completion of MA in English, you can apply in Lecturer post but you should qualify in UGC NET LS exam.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognized University with above 55% marks are eligible for UGC NET or SET exam.
