Can I become a Professor with a PhD(Rural Development) program of Alagappa University?
Hello friends, I would like to know that if I do PhD(Rural Development) from Alagappa University then is it possible to become a Professor or not? Please let me know if I can become a Professor or not? Thank you!

Yes, you can become a professor after studying PhD in Rural Development. First you will become an Assistant professor and for that you need qualify NET (National Eligibility Test) or equivalent from UGC/CSIR. After gaining a 6-8 years of experience in this post you can apply for the Professor post. You have to write some papers and 1 or 2 archival journal publications would be minimum to apply for the Professor job.
