Hi Sir, I have completed my MSc in Physics from distance education. Now, I want to do a PhD in the same subject from Calcutta University. Can I get admission in this university for this PhD program?

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized University with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

There is no age criteria.

If you are a gold medalist in masters degree from a recognized University then you are eligible for stipend during PhD course in Calcutta University or if you have a valid CSIR NET score card then you are eligible for stipend during the PhD course otherwise not.
