Dear Sir, I am interested in doing a PhD program in the field of Biotechnology in Assam University. But I don’t know if this university provides a stipend or not? Can I get a stipend if I do a PhD program in this stream in this university?

Yes, You can get stipend to pursue PhD Biotechnology in Assam University.

Candidates admitted to the PhD programme (regular) are eligible for a monthly stipend from MHRD of INR 31,000 for the first two years .

A monthly stipend of INR 35,000 for the next three years; after five years, they are eligible for a monthly financial assistance of INR 12,000 for one year.
