Can I study PhD in Regular Mode if completed MPhil in Sociology through correspondence?


Hello everyone, I have done with my MPhil in Sociology from Open University. It is a correspondence course. Now, I want to study more and explore my career with the help of PhD degree. I want to do PhD in Sociology but in regular mode. So, I am eligible for admission in this case?

You have done M.Phil course in Correspondence course so you are eligible Ph.D course in regular mode.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree or M.Phil course with above 55% marks from a recognized University are eligible for Ph.D course.

For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There are no age criteria.
