No, CMJ university is not approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). But, the university is well recognize by University Grant Commission (UGC). After getting a degree from this university you will be eligible to apply for jobs in both government and private sectors.
The university is not approved by AICTE, but is recognized by UGC and offers PhD course. Therefore, you can definitely pursue PhD after M.Sc Biotechnology from CMJ university and it won't cause any problem during your placement. |

CMJ University is approved by UGC (Ministry of HRD, Government of India). So there must not be any kind of problem in getting jobs based on your qualification.
Below I have uploaded the link of the official website of CMJ University, have a look over it. http://www.cmjumeghalaya.edu.in/overview.htm |
