Is BE(CSE) student eligibile for UGC NET?

I completed BE computer science and engineering. I would like to know whether I am eligible for the UGC NET exam December for the computer science and applications. I can`t find an engineering stream in eligibility criteria as well as in the application form.

Being B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) in Computer Science degree holder, you are not eligible for appearing in UGC NET as for appearing in the UGC NET candidates having completed a Master's degree course with at least 55% marks in aggregate are eligible. Marks relaxation up to 5% is allowed in the case of reserved category candidates.

For more details regarding the UGC NET, you can refer to the link www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The Educational Eligibility criteria for UGC NET exam is

Or an equivalent degree
Those who have completed their B.tech can apply for December exam.
Thus you are eligible for NET exam.

Yes, surely you are eligible for UGC NET but you must assure that you have 55% marks in your master degree level.
The basic criteria for UGC NEY is to complete the master degree with 55% marks. If you want to apply for junior Fellowship research then your age must be not more than 30.
