I have completed my M.Sc in Botany.
I am interested to do ph.d....
I have heard that ICMR is best for ph.d...
So please can you tell me about ICMR phd and
its entrance exam????????

ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) conducts a national level examination ICMR JRF for awarding students for Junior Research Fellowships. The award of Junior Research Fellowship will vary depending upon the candidate's placement in a medical college/hospital/national laboratory/institution of higher learning, etc.

A total of 150 Fellowships will be awarded. Out of which 120 Fellowships will be awarded for the work in Biomedical Science on emphasis on Life Science which includes courses like:
Microbiology,
Physiology,
Molecular biology,
Genetics,
Human Biology,
Bioinformatics,
Biotechnology,
Biochemistry,
Biophysics,
Immunology,
Pharmacology,
Zoology,
Environment Science,
Botany,
Veterinary Sciences and
Bio-informatics.

And 30 Fellowships will be awarded for the work in the field of Social Science which includes courses like:
Psychology,
Sociology,
Home Science,
Statistics,
Anthropology,
Social Work and
Health Economics.
