Yes, ICWA people need to pass NET exam to get appointed as Associate Professor.

ICWA is equivalent to master degree. If you have completed ICWA with minimum 55% or equivalent than you are eligible to appear in UGC NET.

Crack UGC NET or equivalent exam to be eligible to recruited as Assistant Professor at any recognized university.

Your final selection will be done through interview at respective university.

There is no age bar to become an assistant professor in India.
