I am doing my PhD in civil engineering from a private university which is recognized by UGC will it be recognized by AICTE also

No, a Private University approved by UGC doesn't require AICTE approval. University of any kind whether private or government, does not need AICTE approval to run technical courses. So all students please stop being apprehensive about your University's degree. It would be valid.
