Those who have postgraduate degree in English from a recognised board with atleast 55% marks are eligible for PhD.
Admission is granted both on merit as well as entrance exam.

Teachers are entitled to health insurance for themselves and their family members, including medical, dental and vision coverage.
They are also entitled to sick days and paid leave.
Another benefit is work schedule.

In India, to become a professor you have to pass a special exam of the National Eligibility Test (NET) and State Level Eligibility Test (SLAT).

Eligibility: It is mandatory to have a master's degree in any stream with 55% marks (Professor Eligibility).
