Hello friends, can you let me know about the eligibility criteria for getting admission in Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology for studying PhD in Biotechnology course? Kindly let me know about the eligibility criteria asap. Waiting for your response. Thank you!

The eligibility to study PhD in Biotechnology at Guru Jambheswar University of Science and Technology is a candidate must have passed Master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate for General category and for SC/ST candidates it is 52.25% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. The candidate should be less than 30 years for general category and there would be age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, Women and Physically Challenged candidates. Admission selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in GJUST entrance test which is conducted by the university.

Applicant must have completed BTech in relevant subjects with minimum aggregate of 6 CGAP from recognized university.

Applicant will be selected through entrance exam conducted by university followed by interview.

°°° In order to apply for Eligibility to study PhD(Biotechnology) in Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, the candidate should hold Masters in any branch of biology, professional Masters ( M.Pharma/ MTech) or who completed a 4 year degree program that is MBBS, BDS are eligible to apply.
Candidates who qualify the entrance exam are eligible to apply for a life science / Biotech PhD.

°°° Entrance test comprising of hundred questions of one mark each will be of 1.5 hours duration unless otherwise mentioned and will consist of MCQs with one correct answer.
There will be no negative marking and details for attempting the question paper will be given in the test booklet at the time of entrance test.
