Eligibility to study PhD for an Economics postgraduate?


Hello everyone, I am non working Economics postgraduate. I have 4 years gap after my MSc. Now, I am planning to do PhD. So, am I eligible to do PhD? And how can I apply for it? Please reply as soon as possible.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree with above 55% from a recognized University are eligible for PhD program.

Entrance exam to study PhD(Economics) is UGC NET JRF exam.

There are no age criteria.
