Hi Sir, I want to study PhD(Information Technology) in Lovely Professional University. I just want to know about the duration of this course. So, please tell me about the duration and also let me know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this course.

PhD in Information Technology is of 2 years duration and the maximum time allowed is 5 years to complete your research work. Hence, the minimum is 2 years and the maximum is 5 years to complete your PhD programme.

Admission will be on merit which will be decided on the basis of entrance exam and interview conducted by the concerned university.

You must fullfill the following eligibility criteria to study PhD(Information Technology) in Lovely Professional University;

You must hold a Master’s degree with 55% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) / differently-abled candidates) in a relevant discipline or equivalent from any recognized university.

You must have cleared LPUNEST (Ph.D.) and an interview conducted by the university.
