Eligibility to study PhD(Seed Science & Technology) in Indian Agricultural Research Institute?


Hi Sir, I want to study PhD(Seed Science & Technology) in Indian Agricultural Research Institute. I just want to know about the duration of this course. So, please tell me about the duration and also let me know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this course.

Eligibility to study PhD(Seed Science & Technology) in Indian Agricultural Research Institute is given below.

Applicant must have passed M.Sc./M.Sc.(Ag.)/M.Tech./M.E. in
Seed Science and Technology / Genetics and/or Plant Breeding / Plant Physiology / Crop Physiology / Mycology and/or Plant Pathology / Entomology / Nematology / Botany / Agricultural Botany / Plant Genetic Resources from any recognized university to be eligible.

Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks or an overall grade point average (OGPA) of 7.50 on a scale of 10.00 (7.50/10.0) or 3.75/5.00 or 3.00/4.00 or 2.25/3.00 (For SC/ST/PH candidates: 55% marks or OGPA of 6.88 on a scale of 10.00 or 3.44/5.00 or 2.75/4.00 or 2.06/3.00) in M.Sc. degree programme.

Candidates must have to qualify entrance exam conducted by Indian Agricultural Research Institute.

One needs to have a master's degree in relevant subject with a minimum of 60% in aggregate. Candidates in the final year of their masters are also eligible to apply.
candidates need to qualify an entrance exam conducted by IARI.
