In order to get admission in PhD program in Panjab University, you will have to appear in PhD entrance test conducted by Panjab University. Candidates who have qualified UGC NET/GATE/JRF/SLET/CSIR/ICAR/ICSSR /FIP, are exempted from entrance test. Admission is done based on marks obtained in the entrance test followed by an Interview. The candidates who have cleared the UGC NET / GATE / JRF / SLET / CSIR / ICAR ICSSR* / FIP, are exempted from entrance examination and the selection will be done followed by an interview.
