Dear Sir, I am interested to study PhD in Physical Education in Arunachal University of Studies. I would like to know about the entrance exam through which I can get admission for this PhD program in this university. Kindly let me know immediately. Thank you!

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam called UGC-NET and GATE to study PhD Physical Education at Arunachal University of Studies.

The admission procedure to study PhD Physical Education is candidates must have a post graduate degree with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.

The Admissions to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) shall be through the entrance test. The candidates who will fulfill one of the following requirements may be considered for direct admission :

A candidate who is qualified in a national level test such as National Eligibility Test (NET-JRF), NET-LS (without fellowship), Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE), State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) accredited by UGC, Central or State Government.

Those candidates who have completed their masters degree from a recognized university can do PhD Physical Education.

Minimum marks required 55%.

Duration of this course is 3 years.

Entrance exam called GATE and UGC-NET.

Entrance exams:

1. CUCET - Common Universities Common Entrance Tests.

2. GPAT - Graduate Pharmacy Admission Test.

3. RUET - Rama University Entrance Test.

As per the UGC new Guidelines, UGC NET qualification is required for admission in any UGC recognized university for PhD course. So, you have to attend UGC NET/SET exam.
