Entrance exams available to study PhD(Economics) in India?
Hi friends, I have completed my MA with Economics specialization. I am interested to do PhD program in Economics. So, please let me know which entrance exams are there for doing PhD in this specialization in India?

Entrance Exams to study PhD( Economics) in India:-
Admission to PhD in Economics course are on the basis of counselling after clearing entrance test depending on the college. Some of them are:- GATE UGC NET GRE JCECE( Jharkhand combined entrance competitive exam) IIM Ph.D Test. |

In order to pursue PhD in economics, the candidate has to have either NET/SET/M.Phil or have to qualify in the research entrance test conducted by the concerned Department.

Most of the universities give admission to those candidates who have qualified NET/SET score cards however some universities also conduct their own Research Entrance Test to offer admission to students.
