Re: General cut off for CSIR NET Life Science?
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research is an Indian premier national Research and Development organization.Usually the science subjects are held by the CSIR.
To be eligible for the exam and life sciences the basic qualification required is a Masters Degree in the corresponding fields. So with out which you can not apply for the NET JRF life sciences. Usually the exam is held two number of times in a year. The various cut off marks for the examination are,For General and OBC candidates, you can find the cut off percentage as,Chemical Sciences (43.5%) ,Earth science(47.0),Physical sciences(41.5%),Engineering sciences(41.0%),Life sciences(48.0%),and Mathematical sciences(40.0%). So as you require the cut off percentage marks for the Life Science,it would be of 48.0%.And remember that if it is for the SC/ST candidates, then you will have decrease 10% from the actual cut off. You must posses the exact qualification details to be eligible for the exam. There is a minimum of cut off percentage to the various exams. It basically varies in the exam, the good news is that there is no sectional cut off marks for the each section. Remember they always consider a Cumulative (Total )marks of all kind of parts in the examination. So since there is no sectional cut off,you are in safe zone. But note that there is total cut off for you. |
