Yes, it is valid if done as per ugc guidelines. The university is established by an act of the state govt and recognised. If it is not recognised it will be responsible by both ugc and state govt.

The Validity of the degrees awarded by CMJ University is concerned, the same cannot be verified by the UGC. The validity of the degree can only be confirmed either by the State Government of Meghalaya as per the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court or by the CMJ University.

Validity of degree can only be confirmed either by State Government of Meghalay as per order of Supreme court or CMJ university.
CMJ university is duly notified by UGC and empowered to award degrees under UGC ACT.
