Dear Sir, I have completed my MTech and I want to do a PhD now. I came to know that IIIT Nagpur is offering a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering course. Can I know about the requirements for securing admission?

Requirements to secure PhD(Computer Science and Engineering) admission in IIIT,Nagpur :
Qualification Required : Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with at least 60% marks(55% in case of SC/ST or any other reserved category candidate).
Qualification Desired :A Valid GATE Score is desired.
Selection Process :The PhD admissions shall be on the basis of Written/Online Test and Offline/Online Interview.
Stage 1:- Written/Online Test : Eligible Candidates are required to appear for written/online test.
Qualifying Score in Written/Online Test : The minimum qualifying Score shall be a normalized Score decided taking into account the numbers of candidates to be called for Interview. But in no case it will be not less than 40%.The normalization will be done by considering the Top Most Score to be 100% and scaling the scores of other candidates accordingly.
Stage 2:- Interview : Candidates qualifying the Written/Online Test shall be eligible to appear for Personal Interview.
Stage 3:- Calculation of COMBINED SCORE : A combined score shall be calculated on the basis of score in written/online test, score in personal interview and GATE Qualification. (out of 100 marks for GATE 10 marks).
Final Merit List shall be prepared on the basis of Combined Score.
