After registration, what is the minimum duration for completing the PhD in RTMNU? What is the maximum duration in which the PhD should be completed? Can someone please provide me the complete information on the same? Awaiting for the response.

After the registration for the course of PhD is done. The maximum time to complete the PhD course is 4 years.
There is no minimum time for the submission of the final PhD thesis.
You can submit your thesis as soon as you finish it.
This is the process that is followed for the submission of the thesis after the registration is done for the course of PhD.

In IGNOU the minimum duration is 2 years and the maximum duration is 5 years. In Madras University for a full time PhD the duration is 3 years after provisional registration and before submission of thesis (part time 4 years). The duration will vary from university to university; you have to check the details in the particular university.

Normally, the minimum duration for Ph.D programme is 2 years for most of the streams and maximum is 5 years. Hence, after registration you can take just 5 years maximum to complete your research programme.

After the maximum duration you will not be entitled to continue if your thesis is not signed by the panel.
